RAF Golf Association

Benefits of Joining the RAFGA

The aim of the RAF Golf Association (RAFGA) is to promote Golf throughout the Royal Air Force and encourage both physical and mental health through sport. The RAFGA Executive Committee continues to plan and run a comprehensive programme including numerous coaching days and a variety of competitions for all levels. We also run competitive teams at Representative and Inter-Service level, providing our best golfers with the opportunity to showcase their talents. Moreover, golf builds individual resilience within a team focussed towards a common goal – these are exactly the skills and personal characteristics that today’s RAF hone while servicemen and women are on deployed operations across the world. We also aim to organise an Overseas Training Camp every two years both men and ladies, usually in Southern Spain to take advantage of the climate and quality of courses. The RAFGA remain committed to providing excellent golfing opportunities for all serving personnel, regardless of standard, so please contact us at RAFGA.
